hi. When you transfer, do you have it that the receiver receives USD or TBH?

where do you see that stated officially? It seems like a widespread false assumption.

I’ve seen this before. There’s no mention of 90 days registration here either.

Okay yes. But something that states that DTVs need to do this. This what you sent seems pre-DTV and it seems like it is being assumed that DTVs need to do this too but why would I nowhere in the process be told about this requirement. They mentioned a few things clearly and this should’ve been one of them.

When I applied for and received the DTV, nowhere did I see a need to report every 90 days. Can someone point to where this requirement is officially stated?

yeah, that. True, it’s not a visa. It’s a stamp with an expiration date. That’s what I meant Dave. Thanks Ken for pointing out the difference. My suggestion doesn’t change.

You could come on a VOA, get married, and convert the visa to a marriage visa and reap the benefits you spoke of.

I have an account with Chase and for a SWIFT transfer of $5,000 to an Indian bank the difference was $450. They sent INR. They said there was no fee. But their conversion rate was lower than market.

it was the difference between what I sent and received. So spread across. I don’t think there was a fee. I did it through WU.
