This a stupid question. I have a non b visa. It expires on the 2nd of May. Do I need to go and apply for a tourist visa at immigration and then do I fall under the amnesty bracket? As I cannot do a border run.

what I mean is that I didn't meet the probation requirements and the school was in the process of getting my work permit. All documentation was ready and then they halted everything.

it has been the worst experience trying to get all paperwork in order to get a work permit and teachers license. I was told on Monday that my documents had come through from the curcipa and I needed to go to immigration to get my extension on my visa sorted which I did. I have not been told anything about getting a work permit and to he school doesn't help when you are working for an agency.
