 I read, write and speak Thai and want to stay permanently. I wish they would offer something that was similar but offered an option to pay taxes, since they would make much more in the long run on that option. I deeply support the Kingdom and the Thai people and would love to contribute more.

 Yup, I'm going to get one. But if this was an option then I would go with it. I'd rather buy a condo with that money I'm putting on an Elite visa. I'll probably end up getting one next year though.

I make 3x the minimum requirement and 22 years in my field as a software engineer. But sadly my company doesn't make 150million and is privately traded. I wish they would reconsider this. It would be worth switching companies perhaps but then you must be with the company for at least 2 years I believe.
