Seen a group of 14 indian friends today all each with their own DTV visas. So seeing groups like that pass through would be suspicious to the immigration.

I didn't get DTV until after I arrived, passport hounded me about return tickets, where I'm staying etc. it was only my 3rd entry this year I was shocked I got drilled so hard.

I gave them my most recent bank statement, which was issued 2 months prior to application.

They requested updated statement which has not been issued by bank yet, so gave them a proof of balance of the day they requested. I hope it's good enough!
