TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around individuals who have faced rejections in their Thai visa applications and are considering reapplying. Some users mention successful cases where applicants were rejected at one embassy but accepted at another with the same paperwork, and discussions highlight issues related to financial documentation and proof of funds. There are concerns about the increasing difficulty of the DTV application process and its financial implications.

I have been keeping my eye on many forums and boards, seems most people are having issues regarding bank statements and proof of funds.

I myself have just submitted new financial evidence as requested..

You guys gotta understand the DTV is a tourist visa and you simply gotta show you have money in the bank. The new direction...

There are some posts of being rejected at one Embassy and applying with same paperwork at another embassy and getting approved.

That’s an excellent question, I just got rejected at the consulate in Vancouver Canada, I’m not really sure what to do, I’m going to phone them Monday and find out if there’s anything I can do so I don’t waste C$650

If there were additional documents that could make the difference, they would have asked for them, before rejecting.

Do you mean rejected first application but tried a different embassy or Consulate and were accepted?

also, an actual rejection or a refusal to take application and/or request for more documents. Some on here say they are rejected when they technically were not
