Who/where in Kasikorn ? I spent an hour in a branch today and they did not have a clue ... I gave them the Wise Transfer Receipts and they had no clue what to do with them. Because I was not a Kbank customer, they really did not want to deal with me at all. Are you a Kbank customer ??

try reversing the side of the card you have on the upside. I think the card readers are on the other side.

I'm note so sure abut this, because i was in a Kbank today to get these and they simply did not want to deal with me beause I am not a Kbank customer. You say that you brought in your passport and account details - which account are you referring to - a Kbank account or other ?

I have heard that 'funds for long term' stuff a lot over the past couple of years, but I don't think it is actually correct. Since I heard that, probably 18 months ago, I have always made sure i put it into all of my transfers to TH. But I have now hit issues caused by Wise moving to Kasinkorn Bank as their partner at the end of Aug 2025, and all of my transfers since end of August are now showing as domestic transfers and the 'funds for long terms stay' has not made one iota of difference.

MY bank, SCB, told me the change was made on Aug 31st 2025, when they (Wise) switched to Kasinkorn Bank as their partner bank. Prior to that, all my transfers from UK showed on my statements as international, but afterwards they all show as domestic, which is causing me big problems for my Extension of Stay.

yes, I think I have learned that the hard way now ! 🤦‍♂️

Unfortunately that requires a 10k flight for me ... I live in Samui and there is no Kbank International here on the island (at least, as far I have been able to find out so far). Could you please explain a bit more detail what this ladty did and what she provided ? Might be useful in my next discussion with Kbank here.

I think the IR = International Remittence so that identifies it sufficiently for the likes of Immigration.

As per my post, this has never been an issue for me until 31st August.
