depends on the kind of medical treatment and it can still be a gamble except if you have a previous history of treatments in thailand. I feel it's safer to waste

k on the muay thai route but get your visa approved that taking the risk of a medical treatment and get your visa denied or get a METV the most
chinese names got a surname and usually 2 names, as example Lin Yu Fang. Lin is the family name while Yu Fang is the given name. My friend Put Yu as first name, Fang as middle name. He lost 10k cuz the embassy said that Yu Fang has no middle name but he should have typed Yu-Fang as given name while the official website claims the opposite
A friend of mine who got a chinese name got a far worse experience, he typed in the middle name as all the English official website claims but his application got cancelled cuz according to the thai embassy, chinese folks have 2 given names and not a a given and a middle name. He showed them the screenshot from their official website claiming he followed exactly what they wrote there and you know what their reply was? "You tick that part of the applications that says that this won't be refund in any circumstance. (showing the screenshot of what they just claimed) Try again".
they take it slow when it comes to email.... My friend got her visa approved last week and she her mail was sent this morning (9 days after the visa was approved)
you best chance would be to transfer 500k on her account but that's a huge risk, my grandpa always told me that money end up friendships and relationships.... You can directly mail the embassy and them whether they accept a sponsorship letter or not. It's very unlikely they would accept anything under your name cuz you guys aren't married, only spouses got that right
