I was asked for evidence of 500k baht for 3 months. Is it possible to combine a thai bank account with a balance from a foreign bank account?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question queries if it is permissible to use a combination of funds from a Thai bank account and a foreign bank account to satisfy the requirement of demonstrating a balance of 500,000 baht for a period of three months. Responses indicate that while some consulates may allow the use of two accounts, there are inconsistencies, and it is advisable to have all funds consolidated in a single account to comply with typical requirements. Ultimately, approval rests with the embassy handling the visa application.

It's up to the embassy if it gets approved.

But the basic requirement is that it has to be an account/accounts in your name.
