I cancelled my ED (i was here 8months with it, and before that almost 2years with TR and exempts) and went to my home country for 3months and during that period they launched the DTV and I applied and got it, in august

thats right, i have never said so. I opened it with visa exempt. Point stands: they dont target dtv holders, they target a lot of people with wrong info, you can google why they do it.

it can be done 15day before, or 7days after your 90th day here, no fine. If someone asked you money for it, i guess it went to their own pocket.
