Do you do your own taxes? Do you repair your own car? Do you cut your own hair? If we choose not to go through the hassle and fumble through it on our own...what so you care? And I've noticed the condescending people making these kinds of comments got theirs years ago when it was much simpler.

I was mistaken. I got that and the METV confused. Thanks for the post. Now I have the option to get it here in Vietnam. Take care.

yep. Bungled that one. We had talked about the METV and he Non O. I seemed to have gotten them confused. I’m in Vietnam now and will look into the Non O, or do the exemption depending on how long I stay. Thanks again for the heads up.

Here is an option... Bookonwardticket.com. $10. Although I have never bought one nor been asked to show one. What airline are you flying? They are the ones you should ask.

He is in Pattaya. Bangkok is much more expensive. He uses Bangkok Bank. I'll message you his email to me explaining how everything works if you'd like. Someone on here said it may be 50 cents extra per withdrawal away from Pattaya but if you use your phone app it is free. He can explain it much better than I can. Search One Stop Visa on You Tube and you can watch some interviews with him and several different channels. He knows his stuff and is very well known and reputable. Good luck with it.

I could have sworn we messaged on here that it was only available to me in the US. My previous Non O expired a few weeks ago and I asked if I could get another Non O in Vietnam and was told only in your home country. I’ll have to go back and review that post. When you say obtained from an embassy (in Vietnam?), is that through eVisa, which I think you mentioned in the post that they had switched to, or in person? Thanks.

I was told by an agent and read on here it has to be done from your home country only. Not sure why or what difference it makes, but apparently those are the rules.

What “they” say: You use an agent? How dare you! You’re going to jail! You’re making all of us that do it the right way suffer. If you can’t do it the right way you should leave Thailand. you’re gonna ruin it for everybody!

What I hear: Blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah. 🥱🤦🏻‍♂️
