what’s funny but not really is the DC embassy didn’t even accept the Thai insurance docs. Now we have to wait a few more days for the specific doc to be signed by three officials at the Thai insurance company. But at least they will do it. They said 1500 applications for insurance and this is the first that requires the certificate itself. Well we will wait and give them what they want.

So heres the update - the US DC Thai Embassy would NOT accept our official letter from BCBS so we had to buy Thai insurance that gave us exactly what we needed in 15 minutes. Go figure.

so what did you do?

I submitted a letter from BCBS with them sharing we are fully covered and also have $100k in covid specific coverage BUT they wouldn’t sign the Thai required certificate. Waiting to hear if they accept it.

I did that as well and saw error message that said can process payment after date of e-appointment but it was automatically set for me and I can’t change it. On either browser
