Thank you! Yes, I currently have the non o-a but will be leaving to get a non o based on marriage. I already have all the paperwork done and will have the 400+K in for three months before.

Interesting. Hua Hin Immigration looked over my my application and said nothing about my OS Visa being wrong for a marriage extension.

Yep. I guess I will wait a a month or two (my current extension is good until March) and then pay a visit. Give immigration a chance to sort this out first.

No. I did not. It was a few months ago and it seemed at that time no one was sure if the new insurance rule would apply to extensions.

Transferwise has recently added a choice for reasons to transfer "To show funds for longterm stay in Thailand" or something like that. I just did a transfer did with that selection.

I did read up on transferwise comments. Several suggested it depended on the office. One of the reasons I asked about Hua Hin. Also, there does not seem to be much alternative to using a transfer service.
