Clarification- With a Non O marriage visa is it possible to do a yearly extension with 90 reporting as one does with a Non 0-A? Or does one have to leave every 90 days and stamp back in?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, it is possible to obtain a yearly extension on a Non-O marriage visa without needing to leave Thailand every 90 days. After getting the Non-O visa, you can apply for a 1-year Extension of Stay based on marriage to a Thai national, provided you meet the necessary requirements. However, you must report your stay to immigration every 90 days if you remain in Thailand for that duration.

If you apply for the 1 year Multiple Entry Non Immigrant O visa based on marriage with a Thai National at a Thai Consulate you only get 90 days on entry and have to leave (make a border run) every 90 days.

No, to get the max out of a 1 year visa you do every 90 days border runs to activate a new 90 day of stay, but you could during your first entry visit immigration and get the Extension of Stay. You have the Single Entry Visa, this gives you only 1 entry of 90 days and you have to apply for the Extension of Stay during the last 30 days of this 90 day period.

if you apply at your local immigration office for a 1 year Extension of Stay based on being married to a Thai National and you can meet all the requirements you get a new stamp with the text in the second line Extension of Stay is permitted up to ../../.. 1 year later as your current Admitted to Stay date. If you stay inside Thailand for 90 days or more you have to report this at Immigration and if you like to travel abroad you need the Re-Entry Permit to keep this stay alive

You would need an extension of stay based on marriage.

First you get a non o then apply for a 365 day extension.

There are certain financial requirements though.
