 I thought they could accidentally stamp a big "cancelled" or nullify the visa in their system upon exit.

If they don't set a "can enter again" status upon exit, but rather check the permit upon entry, then it should be fine.

Just trying to understand what goes on. I see people with lots of random visa issues. 😅

 so then there's no risk of people accidentally cancelling the visa? I believe I've seen some people complain that their visa got cancelled on exit even with a reentry permit that was on a different page.

What are the advantages or disadvantages of a multiple entry non O from outside the country vs a non O in country + 1 year extension + multiple reentry permit other than it is all done at once?
