Tod Daniels, I have been using the affidavit from US Consulate in previous years to renew extension of stay. My renewal is due on April 20. This year I decided to do 800,000 in bank instead. The money will be seasoned for 2 months. Just paid a visit to Visa agency and was told it must be 3 months. Now I am left without enough time. Am I correct re two months? If so is there a police order to reference? This is Chiang Mai. Thank you.

It is over $200 just to see a doctor in the US. I believe my doctor in Thailand wouldn't even charge me for the document. Still don't know if the certificate must be done in the US.

I'm currently on the one year extension of stay that I obtained in Thailand. When time for renewal am considering going back to the US for application. Do you know if the medical could be done in Thailand by my doctor there or must it be a US doctor? Would be much less expensive.

Does the 800,000 baht need to be in only one bank or can the total be from two or three banks combined if the other rules are met?
