My regular health insurance plan is the ACS "Health in Asia" plan, which covers me in Thailand, Cambodia, and several other southeast Asian countries. I'm not sure how other plans work though. Most people might need to use the insurance

Just realized I forgot to include your vaccine card in the list of things you have to show upon arrival in Cambodia. Sorry about that.

I'm glad to contribute! I was in Cambodia 7 days. I did not need to apply for permission to leave, as I was just there on the 30-day tourist visa. You can leave any time you want during that period.

By the way, I'm not sure the exact rules about when you can apply for the Thailand Pass. I applied a couple days before I left Thailand, immediately after I had gone to the immigration office and cancelled my existing extension of stay. Perhaps it is possible to do it even further in advance, but I'm not sure.

For Thai Pass you have to have stayed in any of the approved countries for the last 21 days. Thailand counts as an approved country. So it is fine. You don't have to stay 21 days in Cambodia.

Oh interesting. Thank you very much for that clarification 🙂 So I am not currently "on a visa." I am "on an extension." Great to know! I appreciate your thorough, quick, and kind response.

Thank you! So am I still on my NON-ED visa as normal? Or was the NON-ED visa cancelled when the NON-RE one was added?
