That isba better option. That school you showed information for looks like a situation where you are actually trying to become a thai chef. A lot of hours = more expensive.
I just looked at their website and they don't mention anything about DTV visa. Any school that has had people successfully use it for DTV would definitely advertise it. I wouldn't chance it, but you could reach out to them and ask of their course is eligible for DTV Soft Power. You could just find a school in Bangkok. Take the bus up, book a cheap room for the night before (take a morning class then get on the bus back that afternoon) or after your class (take an afternoon class sleep in BKK then get a bus in the AM). If you took an afternoon class, you probably could do a day trip and bypass the hotel room. But it probably would do you some good to get out of Pattaya for a day or two. 😉
