I already answered this to someone else but basically the extra paperwork & inconvenience, 3 months for 400k thb in my case in an account (2 months prior to extension and 1 month waiting to get final stamp, not wanting to wear a crap exchange rate and so on. Just too restrictive against the ease of DTV. Hope that help you understand

yeah with the rubbish exchange rate I didn’t feel like bringing in the 400k bht for my O Spouse extension plus the paperwork so suits me. Plus more trips back to Oz in my future

By the way, I used I Love PDF app to combine and compress the pdfs and it worked quite well. You get 3 free uses a day and worth getting if handy
