Immigration didn't check anything insurance-related for me when I came in around a week or two ago, but I'm a non-O. Tourist/retirement/etc may be different dependent on visa requirements

Typically yes. The consulate in the US advised us once that a quote itinerary is fine. They're looking for your time window to issue the Visa since you have to use it within x days

Technically speaking, if you've read so many posts, then after just the first post others could legitimately say they've seen it posted. 🤔

I did use that link, but I don't know if it's the same with Test & Go now. Sorry. 😣

Does that link give you an option to just pay for the 1 at the airport? If so, that would make sense. When I first applied, it was CoE and I had to book 2 tests with that site.

If you're vaccinated, you typically don't need a test to fly (just show your card).

If you're not vaxxed, usually an antigen test will do. Check requirements of your destination and airline before flying.

Then it becomes a domestic flight (i.e. inside).... Maybe take your own criticism.

^this question.

To OP: Inside, all you need is a negative PCR within 72 hours of entering (7 days supposedly works, but airlines may require 72 for unvaxxed).

From outside, you can't.

Are they even allowing conversion of tourist to Non-O in country right now?
