thanks how did you choose a dentist, was the process easy? Was there a cost just to provide the paperwork?

think I may have to do this. Any chance they do online consultations though? I’ve seen some that seen like they can offer some. I have seen the dentist here as well….

I hear you which is why I’m asking. I’m also seeing many options for online consultations for international patients. So I suppose my best bet is to try and see.

I’m like you tho I don’t see the incentive for them to see me if I can’t pay them yet loll but I’ll try

so this would be in person right? I’m trying to prevent myself having to go in and out of the country as I know to apply for the dtv I can’t be in Thailand at the time of application for the dtv right?

oh this is good to know. Have you heard of Thai dentist providing these documents after seeing me via like a telepresence ? It’s just I have cats and am trying to avoid going in and out of the country.

this is all really good info thank you. I’ve already had extensive x rays with an American dentist.

Is it feasible to ask them to send it to the Thai dentist and then the Thai dentist could grant me to documentation needed for the visa without being seen? I’m just trying to prevent having to go in and out of the country after a consultation with the dentist as I know you cannot apply for a dtv while in Thailand still, right? Also I’ll have my cats lmao, thanks a bunch though!

@Beverley *******
thanks! Good advice. I suppose just the normal google route would work to find one, Ideally I’m only paying Thai prices because that’s the what’s in my budget. But I know I can’t apply for the dtv while I’m there like on a tourist visa right? So if I get a dentist consultation I’ll have to leave again to apply for the dtv right?
