That was In a normal scenario, I heard about honoring expired reentry permits as an exception, but now It's clear that It was a confusing update. Conclusion Is one needs to pay and provide stack of documents all again, no relaxation for expats working for the country though!
I knew that but the above said Information made me think that they might be good enough to honor the expired reentry permits as an exception, but I forgot I had to pump money as It's Thailand!
That's a communication gap at their end "asusual" so basically you mean that any long stay visa holder for eg. NON-B who takes a reentry permit to return back to Thailand within a stipulated time will not be honored?
Ask your employer to send you a WP3 form along with the company documents and a formal contract so you can apply for a Non B visa at your nearest Thai Embassy, this visa shall support your work permit and will be extended on yearly basis after that. But don't move to Thailand until this process Is followed!
