hcmc asked me the same.. I took all the pictures, merged, compressed and uploaded without problems. Now pending approval since 2 days. Fingers crossed I get approved after the weekend.

Yes! Just like my NZ residency. Thai immigration can sort it out and transfer to new passport for sure. A stamp or e-visa makes no difference.

I have my residency for New Zealand and they transfer it to new passport. I am sure that Thailand will do the same. Otherwise as others have said, keep old passport and show that.

I just landed in bkk a few hours ago. Going to check out the Muay Thai Gym tomorrow morning and fly to HCMC Sunday to apply.

I live in Spain, but I'll apply either in Vietnam or the Philippines. I heard already that the Madrid embassy can be slow and strict.

Ah okay, that could explain it. But, there have been a few mentions also from people applying in HCMC who seem to have entered unemployed and still were asked to supply proof of income.

What did you fill in when asked for employment and income? I will apply at HCMC and plan to enter unemployed and no income.
