Hi, if application is pending approval means it’s past the usual checks and just waiting for an official to tick the box press a button ? I had re provide a passport photo that’s it ….

But this whole week nothing happened and my anticipatied date is fast approaching …

Reading many posts in this group certainly seems can never feel comfortable even tho no reason to reject …. Thanks

Answer summary

The post discusses the uncertainty of a visa application that is pending approval in Thailand. The user is anxious as their anticipated date is approaching without any updates. Comments from others indicate that even when an application is pending, there can still be requests for additional documents or an in-person interview, emphasizing that nothing is guaranteed until official approval is received.

Canberra had good results not too long ago. The processing clock resets upon further document requests.

Check on the consulate`s website what their turn around time for the visa is. Count from the moment you uploaded the extra documentation, not from the initial application date. I know it is nail-biting time right now, but as long as all your documentation is in order it should be fine. My nails are now starting to grow back again. 😂

thanks, I assumed was the case ! but I can’t think of any issue, but have seen people in this group have no clue why they were rejected etc it is a weird process and is decided by a computer or person ….
