thanks for that info!! So he wants to travel around and possibly do a bit of volunteering. He has been to Thailand twice before, but was there last year about this time and did make some Thai friends that he wants to visit as well. Any tips to what the perfect answer would be?

will do. He will have a plane ticket bought that can be changed to prove that he is leaving Thailand when it’s time. Then if he gets a month extension he will change his ticket to leave and re enter.

yes so that puts him back here in early September. Then thinking he would apply from Canada for a multiple entry to go back in October/ November. I just didn’t know if immigration would issue him that quickly again?? He meets all the qualifications with money in the bank etc for the multiple entry.

he actually wants to stay longer when he goes back, so that a multiple entry would start when he goes back in October/November. That’s why he would just use a single entry for the first time. Just wondered if it would be okay to do all of that!!

yes he will actually not come back to Thailand and will fly back from Cambodia where he will leave Thailand in August and the 30 day arrival visa in Cambodia.
