It's this one - and although I believe there might be a later model, it's still available for sale.

I forgot to mention - I would go for a swim as well. Here's the current PM 2.5 level next to my pool.

Same as it has for the last few months, but I might put the AC on earlier in the afternoon - no argument that it has been exceptionally hot in the last 2-3 weeks. Pollution levels I would test (like a fair few people in CM, I have a PM 2.5 measuring device) and ascertain whether it was safe to open the windows or whether I need to keep all the windows and doors closed due to high pollution and crank the air filters up.

no, it isn't.The record high is 44.6, first achieved in 2016 in Mueang Mae Hong Son and then matched last week in Tak.

And before you point to a report at the Washington Post or other lazy media outlets, here's the TMD saying that Tak hit the equal record high of 44.6 Saturday last week.

Thai law is clear - you need an appropriate visa and work permit. By your take, the CM Labor Office is lying and the remote working LTR visa wouldn't exist because there would be no need for it. Guess what - the CM Labor Office isn't lying and the LTR remote working visa exists for a reason.

But you believe whatever you want - what would the Thai government know about Thai laws vs you? 😃
