Go buy a sim card, download the app for whatever carrier it is, load money in app, then pic what you want from the app.

No way 50 baht will get you mobile internet for a month.

Doesnt have to be in your wife's name.

The person who holds the book can make a copy of all required documents, or just go with you with book and ID to register your TM30.

Can always purchase a cheap bus ticket to a neighboring country.
