OH ... ok.. I see your point. Because she did the extension and didn't leave before the fine become retroactive?

She did her best but her English is nearly non-existent and she was scared they were going to throw her in jail for overstaying. So when they "insisted" she pay $18,500 she didn't put up a fight. She really didn't want to be stranded in Satun.

BTW the 24th-1st was the extension she got from Patong immigration. I don't understand why you say she got a "application for extension NOT APPROVED"... her extension WAS approved..... right???
