thanks again. Does make me wonder whether you can apply for tourist evisas anywhere in the world (in Malaysia for example) for those who are eligible for it. Or maybe flight tickets submitted with applications must show you’re entering from a country that’s part of the evisa program.
thanks. Yep the second entry would have to be inside the 90 days. I would in this instance be entering from Malaysia on my second visit, but presumably can still make use of the eVisa that was issued in Europe?

I played around a little on the e-visa site and it would be fine, in theory, to apply online with a European nationality and, say, a UK location but not a Malaysia location. While a Malaysian person in Malaysia has to apply at an embassy or consulate. So perhaps the rule is you can apply in any location that is part of the e-visa programme?
