I was told by immigration that we can do it. We prefer getting all of our visas at a consulate though. We'll be too anxious if we hope that immigration can to it at the last minute

Correction... I noticed that going to Kota Bharu instead of Savannakhet will be more convenient and still very affordable

With consulate closed next Monday, I would have to apply on Tuesday. Then if possible change my family's visa to dependant in Friday 10th. (Again, current visa expires on Saturday the 11th)

, Thank you so much. I've been in contact with an NGO, but they only have Thai volunteers and are not too familiar with the expat volunteer process. Do yhey just need to give me a letter of invitation explaining the terms and conditions of my employment?

Do then take that along with their NGO registration and the above mentioned requirements to a Thai embassy perhaps in Laos.
