good question Ray. But as U.K. citizen, flying back from U.K. with my test result from Boots I just felt more comfortable with a FTF issued here from a GMC registered doc

The turnaround from Royal Thai Embassy in London was very quick for me: my CoE request was pre-approved on a Sunday (!) and the certificate issued to me on Tuesday after I had confirmed my flight and ASQ hotel stay on Monday. Service!

The online platform for CoE is quite straightforward. Upload the visa when the passport is received.
