First time i applied myself and it was rejected. You have to prove that she has incentive to go back home after trip. Then i used an agent in Thailand and was successful. Third time i used the agent again and was successful. I think it might get easier once there is a track record of returning.

It works well for me as I'll spend 12 months in Thailand and then go home. Then I will officially retire and return in a few more years!

correct. I have an OA which can only be applied for outside of Thailand. I am required to have insurance, but I do not need to keep 800k THB in a Thai bank account (although I did have to show that I have the equivalent in my bank account at home)

Had a delay today only. It stated 3 hours but went through in 4 hours. Normally is 5 seconds!
