My local immigration office say that there is no such thing as a Non O visa in Thailand (90 day permission to stay). They just looked bewildered and said Mai Mee.

Can I travel domestically in Thailand with a Thai driver's license while waiting for a new UK passport?

Further to the rest, I applied for a new British passport on 9 October at VFS in Chiang Mai. They said it would be 11 weeks but phoned me on the 20th (11 days later) to say that I could come and collect my new passport. It is blue but unfortunately I am told that they are produced in France!

What should I do if my landlord hasn't provided my TM30 before my visa expires?

You do. I just had an American guest and they wouldn’t give her a 30 day extension without me filing a ™ 30 for her, which I did. Mind you, if you ask two different immigration offices you’ll probably get three different answers, in my experience.
