It takes a company with 1 million THB paid up plus 4 thai people in the company per alien to apply for a work permit for an alien. If not married, it takes 2 million THB paid up. You must also have a minimum salary of 50,000 THB per month, and the work you do must be whitelisted. Non-O takes 40,000 THB per month or 400,000 at a bank account at most embassies. A non-O can be extended in Thailand. Without an extension, a non-O same non-B requires you to leave Thailand every 90 day.

, yes, sometimes Thailand is an experience. I have a non-O multiple entry visa. I have been using such for years without problems. Then suddenly I could not return to Thailand on my 90-day visa run, and was told it was a single entry visa. When teaching the officer about the "M", she got offended and sentenced me to stay one night out of Thailand...

I guess because your marriage certificate is not in Thai you will need your passport and/or married certificate translated into Thai and legalized. When getting married in Thailand you same need your passport translated and legalized. Maybe your Embassy will do both translation and legalization. Maybe it also needs to be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Those of us staying for long have tried the route back and forth Embassy and Ministry again and again. The Ministry has a translation service which is acceptable by the Ministry. They do it while you wait.
