it is possible as how do you think local bars and restaurants who cater to mainly Thais survive….

Go country for a while and you’ll see how much the prices differ 😉 it’s all about location location and where you choose to live and which venues you choose to frequent. Even in town prices differ substantially depending on where you eat and drink….

And ultimately a fair salary is all down to how much the boss wants to pay his employees 🤷‍♂️

just received mine from Canberra Embassy last month while I was down for a short trip to Oz, like you said was an easy process and very quick on approval.

2-3 hours on my phone filling in the application and getting all 4 documents together, $600 AUD, and 4 days wait and I had my DTV 🤷‍♂️ if your computer illiterate or up for spunking cash away ฿80,000 ($3,580AUD) may be well worth it. 😂

Contact your local Thai embassy would be the first step 🤷‍♂️

If you passport permits, Just come on a 60 day VOA with a 30 day extension?

Or are you actually planning to stay up to 180 days?

Anonymous participant you may need to try further afield if Phuket can’t provide the services you require. Bangkok I’d say will be able to provide you with the service you want and it’s only a short commute to Phuket via flights.

Solution is you have to apply through and overseas embassy or consulate. I believe Cambodia or Laos May be an option closer to home?
