Is the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane open on Monday, December 11th, 2017?

FYI: I just dropped off my documents this morning at the Thai consulate in Vientiane and the staff told me to come back Monday (December 11th) to pick them up. Also, they still had signs to indicate they were closed Dec 4 and 5, but no mention of Dec 11.
