- I had the same thing and had to pay ... if the visa is expiring then there is no fee but mid term change of reason need to pay immigration “special” fees ... I paid more than that !

Condos generally have a fee and a deposit for renovation. My Condo is 100,000 baht and they charge a per month contractor fee of about 1200 baht I think...this is to cover lift useage etc'. I have done it 2 times and got my deposit back immediately upon completion. Contractors never want to pay the deposit, so if you get someone in, you will still be responsible for the fee and deposit.
