Just closed the loop on my under consideration stamp in Samui.

The first stamp was from Surat Thani.

no I was dragged by the school from Koh Phangan to Surat Thani office to get the stamp so it states "Surat Thani" without (Samui), but I did just get told it is possible to get it done in Samui as well.

Just got answered by someone working with visas, and she said that it is fine to go to Samui as they are they same province.

Has anyone had their Under Consideration stamp from Surat Thani office and used the loop in Koh Samui office?

8:30. Opens at 9 but you can make your papers ready in the downstairs office and take all the copies you need.

You get 30 days, unless you get denied an extension - then you will get seven days.

1900b for the extension and about a hundred for a picture and copies you need.

Depends on the immigration officer. Have 20 000b cash with you, a ticket out of the country to show and a good attitude.

Just left there, all good. Really busy from 8am, should've gone 9:30.

No itinerarys or proof or cash, just a valid address in Thailand.

Thanks for your help

How pedant are they about itinerary's of travel / do you have to prove financials in the embassy etc?

Yeah we're aware of the situations with the overstays and punishments for getting caught. What I'm asking is if anyone has had a similar cr experience and did they only get the 7 day or the full 30 days extension on it. Because he will be f*cked if they also give him 7 days tomorrow, which means the extension ends before the flight leaves.
