I've done 4 exemptions back to back now, only extended once for the 30 days. The funny thing, I was quizzed the first time arriving in bangkok from the UK after having been out of Thailand 9 months. A young female officer asked me stupid questions. Have you thai friends? Do you like nightclubs? She asked for my hotel address that I had only booked for 1 night. I got the impression she was trying too hard or she was on the rag. Whatever I follow the rules just wish they would be more clear about how many and how long these exemptions can be done.
Again if you are a "tourist" traveling is part of the gig 🫣
Other people like to travel and see different places and experience cultures. Not everyone has the fear of missing out what's happening in the whore bar, so returning the same day is a must.
People post here already knowing the answer but they just want reassurance and positive answers.
It's her 2nd entry, 3 months is a great amount of time but tourists stay longer than this in Thailand. She stayed 3 months and wants to stay longer it is fine. Returning on the same day is not advised but 3 days and then come back is safe. So if she is refused at the border, small chance but no big deal just bus back to Penang or KL and fly into phuket.
I'm sure I have done this route before from Mo chit bus terminal. Use the airport rail link to get to makkasan and then the mrt to chatuchak park and then take a bus/ taxi/walk to Mo chit terminal.
You can get an ED visa without leaving the country but it is extra.
Not sure but 10k baht was my quote last year. Personally i would go to another country and apply myself and spend the 10k. If you don't want to leave the country then the 60 days is enough time to change, when it was 30 days it didn't give us enough time.
