What is the process for obtaining a Thai ID and passport as a descendant of a Thai parent?

It took me four hours to get my Thai Id but it's been awesome having one! Once you get your id, getting a passport is a breeze. How did you get a Thai birth certificate? Maybe I should get it for my kiddos. We have Certificates from the states but they aren't "certified" or "legalized" for use here and I'm a little nervous about them. Going to immigration today for Visa stuff 😓🙏🏽

 I will join thank you but I don’t read or write Thai and I speak just about kindergarten level Thai so it will be difficult getting answers. I will look into immigration lawyers and ask our Thai sitter for language help 💕
