UPDATE: I've got the SETV without any issues. Booked application on 4th of December at 10:00. At 10:00 sharp, I was out of the embassy with my application finished (helped that I had all papers as expected) Returned on 6th (5th was Thai national holiday and all embassies closed) and was out with visa on passport after 10min of booked time (14:30).

1 hours ago I landed in Hua Hin and the entire experience was excellent. All 3 ladies IO's were very friendly.

Much better experience than last year at DMK; I was grilled for 15min. Anyone can view my history in my original post.

Thank you.

Not yet in Thailand :) Flying in on Wednesday, straight to Hua Hin. I have booked a room at a guesthouse; they should make me a TM.30 form. Either way, I will request a copy of it to be on the safe side.

I will report my finding here, later.

Just so you know guys: there are Thai embassies, like the one in Romania, that do require a return plane ticket back to home country. I was flat out denied visa application last year because of this; having an "onward" ticket to Vietnam was not acceptable. So I opted for Kuala Lumpur Thai embassy because of the visa exemption rules for romanians (in Malaysia) and lack of proof of funds at that embassy.

Don't know the rules of Poland embassy regarding flights, but it seems that is the same.

I saw suggestions of METV visa on other comments; very good option for more that 60 days. Keep in mind: METV are issued only in home countries, afaik.

Best of luck!

Having a Romanian passport, I can confirm the 15 days. Right now, because of the fee for VOA being waived, you will also get a Visa Exempt stamp - I did, but the allowed stay is still 15 days. Recommend the 200 baht express lane if too many people queing for VOA processing
