With the current banking issues, daily payments have become really inconvenient for foreigners like us. Having a Thai bank account with PromptPay made everything so easy, but now it feels like cash is our only option 😞.

I still don't see anyone successfully opening a bank account with DTV so far. If you seriously need to open a Thai bank account, you can try with an agent and normally they open with Bangkok Bank.
