Ok, should also mention, i already had a MET from Australia, which made the process easy, as i just using another entry.

If the OP actually needs a visa to enter back into Thailand that is another story and might have to do more research about Chong Chom

Agreed Ray Bingham. CC border is a breeze. I was in and out in under 30 minutes and i found IMMs5 guys actually very friendly.

From Buriram, thinking it might be a 3 hour drive.

If you opt to get a van or bus the location might be referred to as "O-smach" since that is the name of the area on the Cambodian side.
