complete bullshit. 800,000 is what you need for a retirement visa to live there permanently. Why do people quote false information? Thailand have just announced Visa exemption, so you can go there without a visa if you’re one of the 56 countries this applies too, 45 day time allowed but yes, 15 days in quarantine, no financial requirements. Then there is the Tourist visa that is 60 days for $80 and can be extended for another 30 days in country for $65. And finally there is the Special Tourist visa that lasts 90 days and can be renewed 3 times, cost $80 dollars, must show $30 a day for every day you plan to stay in Thailand.

All travel to Thailand requires 15 days stay in a hotel (Alternative state quarantine,ASQ) Andrea, you don’t know what you’re talking about!

And if you don’t find a wife, you can convert to an education visa (1 year) for approximately ,000 baht. Learn Thai, yoga, Muay Thai etc, there’s also the volunteer visa option. If you’re taking any of these options, you do have to attend but, they’re not massive commitments and actually quite rewarding.
