@Carl *******
you’re in the U.K. right? Aren’t you f**king sick of the Boris and his Merry men yet? I would do 30 days quarantine to not have to endure even a week in the U.K.! I’ve been back 3 weeks and I don’t know how you’ve all put up with a year of this bs here. Yep, quarantine is an inconvenience. If you don’t want to spend too much for it because the expense, there are cheap options. But the moment you’re out and free in the land of smiles, definitely will feel worth it. Anyway each to their own... I’m getting away from this hell hole and going back asap

talk to your local Amphur office, they will guide you. I’m pretty sure you need your mother’s Thai ID and a copy of her house book.

Anyway, I heard you can but, you have to pay for approved transport taxi to an ASQ in bkk, which is quite expensive.

last time I did a border run, my Thai gf and her friend literally walked to Cambodia with me to get the Cambodian visa... Then we turned around and walked back into Thailand lol. Kids running back and forth over the border...

It might be a bit tougher at the actual check point but, walk a couple of km’s away and they’re freely walking over for sure.

yea I know that and clearly you know that. But there is also a lot of conflicting information online, especially at the moment. Even some mainstream news papers in the U.K. were posting incorrect information yesterday (Telegraph). It’s a stressful situation at the moment and people need a little extra guidance. Anyway, merry Xmas from a fellow plonker Mick, no hard feelings 😉

you can, you’re just advised not to travel unless necessary. I know people who have taken flights yesterday and had no problems checking in. If you have the relevant paper work/Covid tests etc, you can fly.

oh I’m definitely a plonker. But don’t you get my point? What’s the group for, if it’s not to share information. Some people just don’t have the skills or abilities to search, some don’t have the time. I’m always happy to help someone on this group, even if it’s with the simplest of questions.

@Mick ********
if this group is not to gather information from those that have it, then what is this group for? I hate your attitude Mick, you plonker.

that trial commences Jan 1 and continues until Jan 15... Decisions will be made after that.
