TLDR : Answer Summary
Traveling from Cambodia to Thailand by land has become quite complex due to COVID-19 regulations. Currently, it's not straightforward, with many people discussing challenges and illegal crossings. Some mention that a few individuals have managed to enter via border runs, while others note that travelers must have the right permits and arrange transportation to ASQ facilities upon arrival. The conversation reflects varying experiences, including reports of individuals still managing to sneak across the border.

Anyway, I heard you can but, you have to pay for approved transport taxi to an ASQ in bkk, which is quite expensive.
last time I did a border run, my Thai gf and her friend literally walked to Cambodia with me to get the Cambodian visa... Then we turned around and walked back into Thailand lol. Kids running back and forth over the border...
It might be a bit tougher at the actual check point but, walk a couple of kmโs away and theyโre freely walking over for sure.
Yes there has think the first person came in July. If you join the group farangs stranded abroad you will find a detailed account of how he did it.
You need permission from embassy, visa COE etc. You have to arrange transportation with the ASQ from the border and there is extra costs involved in that.
