Can I book the Test and Go days in different cities and choose my medical insurance?

I am currently on a Non B Visa and have an approved reentry certificate. Can I do one night in Bangkok and then travel to my current residence in CM and stay day 5 in a SHA+ approved hotel to take my PCR test. There is no mention on the Thai Pass website that this cannot be done. I noticed there are 176 SHA Extra+ hotels in CM on a link that is on the Thai Pass website.
