Hi all, I am currently living in Chiang Mai on an extension of stay based on retirement (O A) My extension expires on 07 Jan 2023. I will be visiting family in the UK over Christmas leaving on 20 December and returning on 17 Jan 2023. Normally I would extend again before I travel however, after returning to Thailand in January I will have to return back to the UK to take care of my mum in March and may be there for a long time. My thoughts are not to apply for another extension of stay at this time and allow my extension to expire, return in January on a 45 day visa exempt, extend if necessary for another 30 days, leave for the UK and either apply for another O A visa when I'm ready to return to Thailand or enter on another 45 day visa exempt and extend in country. Does this plan sound ok? Or is there something else that I should know that would compromise it. Many thanks
