Hi I live in Koh Tao and got married to a Thai in the UK in 2023. I want to change from my non-o 90 day visa to a one year non-o visa.

Have been told by my visa agent that she doesn't know how to help me... 🙄so hopefully you guys can help me.

What do I need to do? I have read many threads and there is always contradictory advice so I am very lost.

Do I apply for the 'affirmation of marriage status' form on the UK gov website? That form is worded as if it is for unmarried persons and also asks what date and location I'm going to be married in, which makes me think that is the wrong form for someone who is already married. Don't want to pay ÂŁ75 for the wrong form.

I have heard I need to get a "kor ror 22" and also certify my UK marriage certificate then get it translated but not sure how to go about it.

Can anyone please shine some light on what I need to do?

Thank you!

How about steps neccessary to get a non o marriage visa without an agent. Can my Thai wife assist in the bank deposit procedure. And can I skip the deposit with a years worth of income statement greater than 40,000 baht per month. Lastly is there a printout at immigration with clear cut direction on how to complete all the necessary documents?

Is it possible to get a 30-day extension (without leaving Thailand) for an initial Non-imm O (spouse) visa, in order to buy more time to get other documents ready for the 1-year extension?

1) is there only one "ministry of foreign affairs" in Thailand? I've heard nightmares about getting in at Bangkok.

2) are there agents that just handle this step for marriage process?
