TLDR : Answer Summary
To register a British marriage in Thailand, start by legalizing your UK marriage certificate at the UK Legalisation Office in Milton Keynes, then have it certified by the Thai Embassy in London. Once in Thailand, get the certified marriage certificate translated into Thai by a recognized translator. Finally, visit your local Amphur (district) office to obtain a Thai marriage certificate and a Kor ror 2 document. It's advisable to check with the Amphur office beforehand to ensure you have all necessary documents.

Actually visiting your Amphur office first and ask exactly what they need document wise is probably a good idea

After the above procedure once your in Thailand have your certified marriage certificate translated into Thai by somebody who is recognised by the ministry of foreign affairs as certified to translate. Then simply visit your local Amphur 'district' office they will issue a certificate in Thai and a Kor ror 2 document.

The very first thing you need to do is get your UK Marriage certificate legalised by the UK Legalisation Office in Milton Keynes and then certified by the Thai Embassy in London. It's much easier to do this while you're in the UK. I'm sure someone else will advise you about the procedure once you're in Thailand.
