If you apply for 6 months muy Thai course for soft power DTV from an approved provider will you still get 5 year visa? I’ve read mixed reports. Applying from London embassy if that makes a difference.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Enrolling in a 6-month Muay Thai course from an approved provider for the Soft Power DTV visa typically results in obtaining a 5-year multiple entry visa. Numerous comments from individuals who applied for this visa from the London embassy support this claim, noting successful approvals and positive experiences.
Enroll 6 months Muay Thai enough because you will have 180 days each entry and you can change to do something else anytime after approval! At my Muay Thai camp have 1 year.option anyway, but most of customers enrolled 6 months and 100% approved for now. And yes we have many customers from London😊

I have not seen anyone getting a different visa than DTV ie a METV, for a Muay Thai course. Seems to have been medical or short term cooking where those given out and then from Japan etc. London Embassy seems to be very efficient and straightforward.

Of course, you get a 5 year multiple entry visa. I got mine last August from London. Entered September and stayed for 6 months. Spent 3 days in Vietnam in March and got stamped back in no questions asked. Best visa I've ever had.
